Welcome to the home of crown bowls in Merseyside. We are based around the historic city of Liverpool and its surrounding areas from Southport to the Wirral Peninsula and as far as St Helens and Widnes bordering the historic River Mersey and the picturesque Dee estuary.
Crown green bowls has been popular in this region for over 100 years and we are the voice for the bowlers in a catchment area of nearly 1.5 million people covering an area of nearly 250 sq miles. We and all other Crown Green Bowls players welcome anyone interested in taking up the sport, you will be surprised at how much fun it can be. Playing bowls will be what you want it to be, a sport that provides gentle exercise whilst developing hand / eye coordination, a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in a pleasant garden setting, a challenge that develops your competitive insticts or a means of experiencing the pressure involved in a competitive sport. It really is up to you so why not give it a try. For more information click here
